This is the most beautiful painting! I feel lucky and blessed that I came across it! My husband and I honeymooned in Mo’orea and we had taken many pictures in front of this church. To find that Greg Collins painted it was such a joy! We will treasure it forever!

I was super-pleased with my photo print purchase! Like many people, I’m sure, when making online purchases there’s always just a little voice of skepticism in the back of my mind. I knew I liked the image, but had to roll the dice that it would look good in person, the frame would be adequate, etc. I must say it exceeded even my hopeful expectations! First of all, the packing was stellar. The photo print did look great in person, and the framing was WAY better than I was expecting! It was ready to go with a sturdy hanging wire already in place. Unfortunately it was a gift, so I don’t have a photo of it on my wall! I did, however, open and inspect it before wrapping it and re-shipping (in the same stellar packing!). I would easily recommend FineArtAmerica and will happily shop with them again in the future…worry free!

Artist's Description
Ink illustration and watercolour painting of a fringed leaf frog.
Drawn using one of my own photographs as reference, I used sakura pigma micron marker pens for the outline and detail work and added colour with watercolour paint.
The fringed leaf frog, or fringed tree frog (Cruziohyla craspedopus) is an extremely vibrant species of frog with a beautiful green blue upper body, yellow sides blending into deep orange on the underbelly. Their markings are incredible when viewed up close. They live high in the tree canopy in the tropical lowlands of the Amazon rainforest.
